Export to .obj with groups
« on: March 14, 2016, 01:30:24 PM »
First of all - great software! I hope it'll be actively developed with a ton of new features in the near future :) However, there is one thing I'm missing right now in Crocotile the most - the ability to export the scene with all objects as named groups. Currently everything is "merged" which makes it impossible to work on specific objects after importing the exported scene to another application. Would it be possible to implement this in the next release?

Okay, I have implemented this into the exporting! Will be in next version (1.2.4).

There's one more thing with exporting to .obj, but maybe you've already fixed it - when exporting a scene that contains only objects and no "free" tiles, we get an error saying there're no tiles to export.

yep, I fixed that yesterday when I was improving the save/load/exporting. Thanks for reporting it though!
